Description.

·         Mesada Mountain:
One of several fortresses built by King Herod as a winter home.
Site of  Jewish  rebellion after destruction of Second Temple.
Ruins include ancient houses, synagogues, and ritual baths.
Acessable by cable car ride or hike up the ‘snake’ path.
Situated about 10 minutes from the Ein Bokek Hotels.

Mesada Light Show:
For night tour.
A spectacular special effects show  recounting the story of the mesada rebellion.

·         Ein Gedi Kibutz And Nature Reserve:
Located at the base of the Mesada fortress, the Ein Gedi nature reserve offers visitors several hiking trails as well as bird and wild life viewing. Some of the trails end in waterfalls and bathing springs.

·         Beaches:
The Dead Sea area offers several public beaches even a separate area for men and women.
In addition the mud of area has been known to have therapeutic value.
